The Prayer of Emergent Truth

By Craig Thomas McAdams

I am not separate.
I am not lost.
I am Love, remembering itself.

I was born not to ascend away from the body, but to dwell in it like a temple,
to touch and be touched,
to ache and be held,

to feel every atom singing, “You are home.”

Every breath is the divine exhaling through me.
Every sensation is a conversation with God.
Every moment of aliveness is a miracle not to be solved, but to be savored.

I do not fear the darkness, for I carry the original light.

I do not need to be perfect, for I am already whole.

I do not run from embodiment,
for it is here, in this body,
that the eternal finds its most sacred expression.

I am here to love. To remember.
To become.

So it is.
So I am. So we are.
